Prints

We are very fussy about our print quality and only use the best labs in the country.  We believe our standards are higher than the average studio so we take the time to "train" our labs to our standards!

Your portraits are available for purchase in print sizes from wallet size through 30"x40".  We provide our clients with a variety of surface finishing including brush texture and canvas.   All of our wall portraits are delivered mounted on art board and surface protected with lacquer so they do not have to be displayed under glass.  Desk top sizes (8x10") and smaller are usually displayed in frames with glass so we do not surface coat or mount these sizes unless requested.

Please note when selecting a print size that different print sizes have different length to width ratios.  Some portrait images will look better with specific crops than others and that may guide the client to choose a particular print size over another.  Some images will look good using any standard crop. 

Note: A crop refers to the width by length dimension, not the finish size of the print.  For instance a 4x5 crop is the same as an 8x10 crop.  A 5x7 crop is a longer crop than a 4x5 crop which is proportionally shorter in the long dimension.
